Statement
My visual research focuses on the persistence and transformation of the cultural sign as a symbolic structure in motion.
I am interested in how graphic and ritual systems survive when they shift territories, how memory inscribes itself into pictorial matter, and how displacement alters the morphology of the sign.
Rather than representing ancestral symbols, my work tensions their limits, fragments them, and reinscribes them. Painting becomes an archaeological practice of the present: a process of symbolic excavation and reconstruction.
The series developed in recent years form part of an ongoing investigation addressing:
– Sign and vestige
– Rituality and resonance
– Symbolic territory
– Cultural nomadism
– Archive and reinscription
This research remains open, expanding with each new project and exhibition context.

Mi investigación visual se centra en la persistencia y transformación del signo cultural como estructura simbólica en movimiento.
Me interesa explorar cómo los sistemas gráficos y rituales sobreviven cuando cambian de territorio, cómo la memoria se inscribe en la materia pictórica y cómo el desplazamiento altera la morfología del signo.
En lugar de representar símbolos ancestrales, mi trabajo tensiona sus límites, los fragmenta y los reinscribe. La pintura se convierte en una práctica arqueológica del presente: un proceso de excavación y reconstrucción simbólica.
Las series desarrolladas en los últimos años forman parte de una investigación continua que aborda:
